I’ve done 4 beginner classes and this is my first Advanced Beginner class. I learned so many new skills! My cookies still came out a little shakey but overall I’m pretty proud of them!
This was my first ever class and I absolutely loved how much detail Grace put into it. From the video, the document, practice sheets, and all! I am definitely purchasing other classes. Thank you so much!
Probably 15 years ago, I attempted to make sugar cookies with royal icing. I was up until 3am and they turned out mediocre at best. I never tried it again until I found Grace’s page. I’ve watched what seems to be hours of videos, and she just makes it look so easy! So, I thought this year cookies would be my new skill to try. I purchased the beginner flowers course. I watched the video all the way through before starting. Yesterday I made the cookies and started the icing, and today I decorated! I absolutely surprised myself. Grace’s course is so thought out and detailed that I knew exactly what I needed to do. The entire process was so smooth and so much fun! My intention was to eventually sell cookies once I got better, but you know what? This is my first try and I don’t think I’d be too ashamed to sell these! I can see now how others say this is so addicting. Also, let’s talk about the cookie and icing recipe. They are both absolutely outstanding! All around perfect in every way. I’ll be taking more classes for sure. Thank you so much Grace!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE all of Grace's classes! This is the 4th beginner class I've taken, after doing the Christmas/Winter classes. I took some shortcuts this time, after having taken the other 3 classes (e.g., not letting the colors of the icing develop for very long), but I'll go back to following Grace's directions in the future! My Christmas/Winter cookies were such a hit with friends, that several have asked me to show them how I decorate the cookies, so I am taking cookies I've baked and frozen and some icing I'll make ahead of time to a gathering this weekend and we'll spend a couple of hours decorating cookies together! I'm excited! This past weekend I made a "test batch" and I just love how they came out (picture attached)! I love how easy Grace's directions are to follow, both in the workbook and in the recorded class, and I love that she provides links to so many other videos where we can get more details about specifics in the class. If you are wondering whether the classes are worth it, I say go for it! You will be very pleased at how well the cookies come out!
