Learn to decorate the perfect snowflakes with our BEGINNER SNOWFLAKES online cookie decorating class.
This set was made with at-home beginner cookiers in mind, so it uses ONE consistency, ONE shape and 2 colors. Yes, you heard that right! Now that's my kind of beginner class!
Fewer consistencies and colors = less time spent prepping.
One shape = less money spent on supplies.

I’ve dreamed for months of decorating cookies with royal icing. This class was so easy and fun! I love how my cookies turned out and can’t wait to take more classes.
After taking an in person cookie decorating class and giving it a go on my own, I decided to try one of Grace’s online classes. Her designs are beautiful and I couldn’t pass up the new snowflake class. I’d say I’m a beginner to cookie decorating, but I pick things up really quick so I wasn’t worried about skill level. I took the time to read the class book ahead of time and ordered the needed supplies. Baked my cookies then got my icing ready the next day. I was impatient and didn’t let the icing sit overnight, but they turned out fine. I popped the class video on and decorated along with Grace. The class was easy to follow. I loved that I could pause and rewind if needed (and I did!). I struggled with the pressure piping and know that I need to practice more if I ever want to use that technique. But everything else was easy going. The cookies turned out great, and the people I shared them with enjoyed them and said they were beautiful. Kid approved even! PS, I gave up early on for the pressure piping white snowflake and decided to just do a random design before Grace mentioned an alternative method. So I have bad pressure piping, random filled circles, and then attempted white dots. The cookie was a bit confused, but it was all good practice! Overall this class was easy to follow and I had a lot of fun trying new things.
Grace does a great job of providing you with lots of information in the handbook she provides. I have been intimidated by the royal icing process but after taking this first class I’m feeling much better. My cookies are not perfect, my icing was too thick, but I learned a lot and can’t wait to give it another try, as I know I’ll just get better.
Also I’d recommend using the exact size cookie cutters that Grace uses. I used 3 sizes of pumpkins and that created some issues.
I learned so many new techniques with this set! I was very proud to give these away to friends— such a fun set!!
This was a fun and more challenging class. There were a lot of designs which took way longer than I expected. But of course the final outcome is amazing!
