I selected this class for my self and 12 yr old grand daughter. We are both very pleased with the instructions amd learned so much!
The video format and workbook are extremely well done and easy to follow! Our cookies turned out FANTASTIC!! I especially appreciated the details for recipes, set up, prep before class as well as all thee ways to save money!
This was such a special skill to learn at her age that she will use often!!

I’ve been making royal icing cookies for a few months now and really enjoy the more advanced ones. A friend wanted to give it a try for the first time when I was visiting this weekend so we decided on Beginner Halloween.
We got good results and enjoyed the class. This is a great resource to make these cookies! I have a few things that I want more experienced cookiers to know, especially who have done other classes from Grace.
- the video is a recording of a class done over Zoom in 2022, remember those?
- there is waiting time built in for people to work, so unlike newer classes you might be fast forwarding rather than pausing
- Grace’s actual mom is taking the class along with you and it is adorable.
I recommend buying the spray glitter, but it is a bit messy. Totally worth it.
I love baking but have been intimidated to decorate with royal icing (whenever I tried in the past it would turn into a complete mess). This class was SO helpful and I loved how the instructions and prep were laid out in a way that made sense and made the overall process so smooth and efficient. My cookies are far from perfect but they are light years ahead of anything previously attempted and I am excited to try more and improve! Highly recommend this class!
Thank you so much for a great online class. I still need lots of work on royal icing consistencies and techniques, but I am confident with your classes and videos that I will be able to get there! I am looking forward to purchasing many more classes in the very near future :)
The class is great. Great for us beginners. Many of her tips in class will also be helping me with other sets.
I was inspired with a couple of my own designs. I didn’t have the cuts coffee cup cutter she had but can’t wait to get that one so I can add whip! Who doesn’t like whip?!
