I want to preface this by saying, for years I've been terrified to try Royal Icing Cookies, but not any longer. This class was great. From the YouTube video and workbook to all the other YouTube and Blog resources. I spent the days prior to creating, watching and reading everything I could and it seriously gave me the confidence to do this!
The cookie recipe is delicious as is the icing and it didn't take days to prepare. I started the process yesterday morning and have just finished the decorating.
I do wished I would've colored my icing more, but I wanted to err on the side of caution, and not over saturate. I also messed up on my consistencies and wished I would've done it a little thinner. You definitely would have better luck with it a little thinner. I also couldn't find tipless piping bags and didn't use a thin enough scribe. All things I will learn better from next time. I also did one cookie along with the class and then did a second after, and felt like my second was way better than the first.
I highly would recommend this class and taking the time to view all the material covers in the work book and links. I felt so prepared by that. Thank you for your attention to detail. I will most definitely be making more purchases from you in the future.

I have taken several classes and each one has taught me so much! Grace’s style is great and the workbooks she provides are a bevy of information.
Don’t hesitate to purchase a class, you won’t regret it!
I’m new to cookie decorating. Lots of good and useful information for a beginner. I’m looking forward to perfecting my techniques.

This set was fun to make. I took some liberty on the designs (e.g. crackle instead of bear for the orange and forgoed the brown spots for the pear and banana). It was more time-consuming for me because I decided to match the icing flavor with each fruit. Still a fun experience and I love all of the flavors of the cookies so def recommend trying that. You'll just need a 1/8-1/4 teaspoon of flavoring for each. Stems and leaves I kept lemon-flavored. This icing recipe made about 50 cookies. Only enough icing for 3 grape though since it's loaded. I am looking forward to the revise of workbooks as I think it's super text heavy and not always easy to navigate if you are not a newbie to Grace's classes.
