It’s definitely more complicated than the other classes we’ve done, and much longer, but it’s really easy to break into 3 “sessions” based on the pot color, which makes it much easier and more manageable. The cookie cutter set is expensive but they are nicely designed, well-labeled, and easy to make. We were able to get two of each cookie from a standard recipe of dough.
Yeah!!! I was able to feel like I finally got it!
Thank you Grace for your guidance. Your tutorials are perfect for any level. I have learned so much from your classes. I have finally tackled the RI consistency dilemma and now on to textures.
For those who are looking to entertain Cookier world I do suggest taking some courses. You-tube and Pintrest so only go so far. Grace, The Graceful Baker, has been a blessing for me. I have learned so much from coloring techniques, textures, how to conquer the RI and what to do with leftovericing...I can go on and on. Take a class- you'll be glad you did.

I started my cookie journey 3 months ago…and bought several cookie classes, but it wasn’t until I found the Graceful Baker where I actually learned the nuances and reasons behind icing consistencies (probably the most important part of the decorated sugar cookie process). The plant tutorial was amazing!! Bummed my monstera and Chinese money plant cratered….but it was barely noticeable and I know what to change in the future! Highly recommend her classes!!
I made two of each design so the entire process took about 4-hours, but it was fun and engaging!
This was my stretch goal class! It definitely stretched my skills. There were so many new techniques to learn. And Grace walks you through all of them with so much fun. I could not believe how great they turned out. The piped leaves were what I really wanted to learn and was so happy with how they turned out.
