A general guideline for skill level:
- Beginner: never worked with royal icing before (even if you're an experienced baker) or a handful of times
- Advanced Beginner: has worked with royal icing for +/- 6 months and sometimes gets the icing consistency right
- Intermediate: has worked with royal icing for 1 year+ and often gets the icing consistency right
My classes are designed for success *no matter* how much experience you have with royal icing. All of my cookie decorating classes include the same cookie and icing prep regardless of the skill level. While others differentiate skill level partly based on how much prep is provided, I provide the same prep regardless and differentiate skill level based on the techniques covered in the set and amount of decorations/tools required.

This set is so cute! It was a great set to create with friends during Thanksgiving break - I’ve done quite a few of Grace’s classes but this was my friends first time cookie decorating and they were able to master it with the help of the detailed workbook and the video link!
This was my 3rd class from Grace. The piping was easy by now(she explains everything so well I feel like almost an expert already) , but I was really excited to learn a couple new techniques on the pie crust. Since this is only 3 designs it's pretty quick too, in case you don't have a lot of time . On to the next one !
I had been lurking on Instagram for a while and attempting Grace’s designs on my own, but I finally bit the bullet and purchased a class. So so happy I did! There is so much more great info that is given (especially in regards to frosting consistency and coloring -which I struggle with!) I will definitely be purchasing more!
I thought these pieces of pie were the cutest thing every and had to give them a try. My daughter and I decorated them together the night before Thanksgiving! I love the time line in the workbook, it made it easy doing a little bit each day! Bonus everyone at our dinner loved them!!
