My daughter and her childhood bestie, who I consider my second daughter, spent a great afternoon each making a set of these. None of us had ever worked with royal icing before. We chose the beginner Easter egg class. We had so much fun. I baked, made icing, and gather supplies. They provide snacks and the laughs. For our first class we were quite pleased with the results. We have decided to do a cookie day on a regular basis. Grace, your instructions and videos covered everything in perfect detail. Your reassurances regarding letting perfection go and affirmations ( “pat yourself on the back”) are so encouraging. I’m sending a video. As you can see the heart cut-out on my green polka dotted egg does resemble a kidney more than a heart. lol. But we said as long as it resembled one of the vital organs it was ok. Thanks for a wonderful time.
